Quantitative Analysis Trainee Role based in London
Major Investment Bank, seeks a good Quant to join the Markets team in London and offers extremely competitive salary, and internal training.
The team you will be joining uses their Quantitative skills to advise and structure investments for clients, showing them the best investment opportunities in the markets, be they equities, commodities, credit, futures, or FX.
you will be required to :
* Create, implement and manage the mathematical models that are used within Markets
* Price, trade and manage the risk associated with markets products
* Work with traders and salespeople in the more technical product areas to assist with addressing client needs
* Develop new products, consistent with the firm's risk framework
* Market new products to salespeople and occasionally assist in selling the products to clients
* Respond to client specific requests for product solutions
You will want for nothing, all the knowledge and skills you need in order to succeed will be catered for.
This Quantitative Analysis program runs for three to six months and the client can be flexible on the start date.
For starters you will be placed in Quantitative Analysis, Structuring or Exotics Trading. Here, new insights from the worlds of finance and academia drive innovation and excellence in mathematical and quantitative trading. Working alongside our experienced professionals, incoming analysts will have the opportunity to actively participate and develop their skills in the above areas.
At the end of your placement, successful analysts will be considered for a place on a full-time program.
They are interested in Candidates who have obtained a Masters or PhD in Engineering, Maths, Physics, Computer Science or other scientific disciplines. Candidates interested in the markets who are determined to succeed, great with numbers and analytics.
Must be highly motivated, willing to take risks and have a genuine interest in the financial markets, current affairs and macroeconomics.
